Assisted Living at The Gardens

The Gardens offers an assisted living lifestyle to residents. Assisted living services means that knowledgeable and trained staff are there to help with activities of daily living when needed but also encourage residents to be as independent as possible and enjoy life to its fullest. As needs for daily assistance change, the staff is available to offer more assistance with activities of daily living and always more encouragement.

The Gardens is our Residences' Home

From the inside of our building to the outside, The Gardens is designed to cater to residents. The owners, Ocean Springs Management Group, LLC have put tremendous thought into the building layout, amenities and services provided. The building has spacious common areas that include a living room, a TV room and other small intimate sitting areas positioned throughout the building. All of these common areas are tastefully decorated for the comfort of residents and designed to encourage an active senior community and lifestyle as possible.

The Gardens property also features numerous walking paths, gardens and landscaping surrounding the building. The walkways give residents an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant stroll outdoors or even just to sit outside and enjoy the view.

At The Gardens, residents have the choice of private or semi-private rooms. All residents are encouraged to bring personal items for their rooms. Also as part of the monthly rental fee, housekeeping and laundry service are provided for every resident. The monthly rental fee covers all utilities except a private telephone.

Restaurant Style Dining

Meals and snacks are included with the monthly rent and the meals are fantastic! The dining room is decorated with country French style furniture and offers delicious restaurant style dining. Three meals are served daily plus snacks are available. Dining is always an excellent time for the residents to come together.

As part of our strong sense of community The Gardens also occasionally offers a cookout and we celebrate the major holidays with traditional meals. Our Thanksgiving and holiday dinners are very well received by residents and their families. Family members are always encouraged to come share a meal with their elder for a very nominal extra cost.

Activities

Although many residents need help with activities of daily living, the philosophy at The Gardens is to involve residents in life and encourage all residents to stay as active as possible. To promote this philosophy, The Gardens offers a daily offering of fun activities for everyone. Activities can range from hobbies, game, guest lectures, performers, religious services, bingo-go games and much more. For those residents that choose to participate there are also off sight activities. These are handled with our own transportation vehicles. Off sight trips can include volunteer and school field trips, trips to the local library, sightseeing tours and plus participation in other special community events in the area.
