This calendar lists events for seniors, boomers, older adults and family caregivers living in the greater Denver metro area. Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Occasionally we include other events from the Colorado Front Range.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival features a cast of hundreds of authentically costumed merrymakers active throughout the village and performing continuously. Active Minds Presents: Music of Aaron Copland and the American West

Join Active Minds for a musical journey into the American West at 3PM at Sunrise at Flatirons. We will focus upon works by Aaron Copland who was so instrumental in forging a distinctly American style of composition with works such as Rodeo and others. Free Healthier Living Colorado
Where: Shalom Park Senior Residences, 14800 E. Belleview Dr., Aurora, CO (map)
This is a program to help people deal with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition such as heart disease, a lung condition, diabetes or arthritis. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from July 7 to August 11 at Shalom Park Senior Residences, 14800 E. Belleview Dr. in Aurora. The free six-week class meets from 1PM to 3:30PM and is open to the community. Healthier Living Colorado is the chronic disease self-management program developed at Stanford University. Whatever the diagnosis, this class teaches and supports participants in making better choices and practicing self-management. Denver PUC Meeting - Status of Phone Service under Review

Sunset is collaborating with Denver's design leaders: Design Platform and cky design to transform a 1954 bungalow into a state-of-the-art modern home.
