Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Low Vision Technology Training Support Group at Villas at Sunny Acres

Presented by the Beyond Vision Program with CPWD and the Colorado Center for the Blind, this event includes both low technology and high technology devices, such as iPhones and iPads. The group covers information and training on devices that help maintain the independence and improve the quality of life for those with low vision. Technology will be brought to each group and demonstrated. Additional training is offered in a one-on-one basis in-home for those wishing additional or advanced training. AARP Tax Assistance

The AARP will provide tax preparation help, with trained volunteers, in the reference area of the library from February 1st through April 12th, Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:15AM through 1:45PM. Appointments are required for this assistance, which is provided for low and middle-income seniors aged 60 and over. Free Healthier Living Colorado Class

This is a program to help people deal with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition such as heart disease, a lung condition, diabetes or arthritis. Gold Penny Fashion Show

Join us for a unique fashion show featuring models wearing gently used clothing. The Assistance League of Denver has been serving the greater Denver community for 59 years and will present the fashion show from 2PM to 3:30PM.
