This calendar lists events for seniors, boomers, older adults and family caregivers living in the greater Denver metro area. Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Occasionally we include other events from the Colorado Front Range.

The Salute to Seniors is Colorado's largest senior expo, with information, resources, live entertainment, games, prizes and more! In addition to entertainment, the Salute provides Colorado's seniors and their families with information and tools to live healthy and independent lives. With over 100 exhibit booths every year, the best Colorado has to offer is on display! Exhibitors come from all industries, including health insurance, housing, concierge services, home repair, leisure and recreation and more. The Groundbreaking of Seven Stones Chatfield

Seven Stones Chatfield will be the area’s first botanical gardens cemetery and we are breaking ground! Due to snow and low temperatures in the week of April 13th, Seven Stones’ Groundbreaking was postponed. Find a The Death Cafe Event

With a Death Cafe, the idea is to get people from all backgrounds together over tea, coffee and delicious cake, to simply talk about death, a normal aspect of life that is generally feared by our culture. The hope of the Death Cafe movement is to simply normalize this phase of life by allowing groups of people to talk about death. Furry Scurry

The Dumb Friends League Furry Scurry has become a tradition for many Denver area residents. The annual two-mile walk for animals takes place at Denver’s Washington Park on the first Saturday in May. As the Dumb Friends League’s largest annual fundraiser, more than 12,000 people and 5,000 dogs join us for the walk and raise funds for the homeless pets in our care. Learn More
