This calendar lists events for seniors, boomers, older adults and family caregivers living in the greater Denver metro area. Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Occasionally we include other events from the Colorado Front Range.

Colorado Senior Law Day provides attendees with important and useful information on many issues facing our growing senior citizen population. With a Death Cafe, the idea is to get people from all backgrounds together over tea, coffee and delicious cake, to simply talk about death, a normal aspect of life that is generally feared by our culture. The hope of the Death Cafe movement is to simply normalize this phase of life by allowing groups of people to talk about death. Community Falls Prevention Specialist Certification and Cancer: Thriving and Surviving leader training are being offered at the Consortium for Older Adult Wellness Academy Sept. 8-13. Leader trainings are geared toward healthcare, recreation and wellness professionals and are open to the community. CEUs are offered for all classes. Upon completion, leaders are encouraged and supported in implementing classes in their communities.
