  • About Phone Service in Colorado
In regard to House Bills 14-1328 through 1331 that passed this year dealing with Telecommunication laws in Colorado, consumers should continue contacting the PUC regarding problems with phone service and also alert their Legislators with any issues. The PUC and Legislators need to know about failures. The PUC will not be able to resolve complaints, but they will track them as HB 14-1331 has a “claw back” provision, allowing regulation in 2018 if a need is proven to exist. The Sponsors of these Bills were: Reps. Angela Williams, Carole Murray, Don Corum and Sens. Andy Kerr, Mark Scheffel, Jeanne Nicholson and Lois Tochtrop and signed by Gov. John Hickenlooper.
