About John Licht
John Licht holds degrees from Stanford and Northwestern Universities and the University of Denver College of Law. He has practiced law in Colorado for over twenty-five years. For most of those years he concentrated his effort in litigation. In recent years however, he has directed his efforts to a more emotionally satisfying area of practice - Elder Law. He joined the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys in 1993. He is also a member of the Colorado Gerontological Society, the Colorado Bar Association, Elder Law Forum Committee, and the Guardianship Alliance of Colorado.
Something of a Renaissance Man, John Licht’s interests range from poetry recitation and white water canoeing to photography and American history. Of all his interests and hobbies, however, the most rewarding is hearing the stories of the individuals he is privileged to meet and serve.
