Our Mission Statement:
Franciscan Ministries, Inc. (FMI), sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters, is committed to providing quality affordable housing in a compassionate environment that promotes wholeness of life within ourselves and the communities we serve. FMI was founded in 1984 with a vision of having its shelter ministries recognized for excellence in property management and a well integrated network of support services that provide hope, growth and opportunity. Our values, which flow from our Mission and Catholic tradition, adhere to the following behaviors of respect, integrity, development, excellence and stewardship from all those who serve in our organization. FMI develops and manages affordable housing for families and seniors located in neighborhoods across Colorado, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.
We welcome persons of all cultural backgrounds and faiths, the staff promotes independence, companionship and a positive self-image in a secure home-like setting. Assistance with daily living tasks and the comfort of round-the-clock support make life more enjoyable for our residents.
We are a vibrant, friendly community - inviting relationships and involvement, yet respecting one's privacy. Making the decision to leave your home and move to a different way of life can be very challenging. At Dayspring Villa, that transition is made easier among friends who share common experiences. Here we pride ourselves on creating homes and touching lives.
Affordable Fees . . .
All of the benefits and amenities of Dayspring Villa are available for a reasonable monthly rate. There are
no buy-in fees or up-front investments. A security deposit is required for private pay clients only.

- Individually controlled heat and air conditioning
- 24-hour staffing
- Staff RN
- Medication Monitoring
- Monthly Blood Pressure Clinic
- Assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and personal grooming
- Three well-balanced meals each day
- Snacks
- Weekly housekeeping
- Flat linen service (sheets and towels)
- Personal Laundry
- Social, recreational and spiritual programs
- Community family rooms
- All utilities except telephone and cable television
- Chapel with Mass four times/week and nondenominational services weekly
- Assistance with arranging transportation
Additional services offered for a fee . . .
- Foot and Toenail clinic under $10.00
- Beauty/Barber Shop
- Cable Television
Other on-site supportive services such as home health care and hospice care are also available. These services are billed to the resident by the service providing agency.
