Welcome to "The Seniors Resource Guide of Denver. The Seniors Resource Guide is an organization that publishes in-print senior resource books and local Internet directories. The book and Internet publications are filled with valuable lists of resources and links to a variety of senior services organized under six main categories: Senior Housing, Health at Home, Professional Services, Health Services, Care Management and Community Resources. In 2003 "The Seniors Resource Guide" will be published in 12 major metro markets in the United States with each market having an in-depth Local Internet Directory.

The original "Seniors Resource Guide" book was called "The Seniors Blue Book and Resource Guide" and was founded over twenty-five years ago by Clifton Chadwick. Clifton was an architect for many years in the Denver area and after he retired, he saw through the eyes of an elder the need to help seniors in his community. With his vision, he founded the first "Seniors Resource Guide" in the Denver metro area. He called his book "The Seniors Blue Book and Resource Guide". The goal of his book was to offer senior resources to the community so that "...seniors could live a life of dignity, choice and purpose." Using his own funds and limited marketing knowledge, he published the first "The Seniors Blue Book and Resource Guide" in 1978. As a one-man-operation he continued to produce the resource book for the next fifteen years gradually growing the publication.

In 1993, the Hersch family of Denver, Colorado purchased "The Seniors Blue Book and Resource Guide" from Clifton. At that time Clifton was an octogenarian and only the loss of his wife and personal health problems caused him to part with "The Seniors Blue Book and Resource Guide" that he had worked so hard to develop. The publication is still privately held by the Hersch family and continues to be published with the dedication and purpose that Clifton founded the book with.
