Assisted Living at The Granville

Assisted living at The Granville means that staff are available, on site, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to assist residents with bathing, dressing, laundry, housekeeping, wake up calls and companionship. The Granville has employees who are qualified to give medications to residents requiring that level of care. We deliver our meds using various packaging systems including unit dose packaging.

All of our apartments are private units with a private bathroom. Each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system. All of our apartments have phone and cable hook ups, however that service is offered at an additional charge from the phone and cable company of your choice. We have a beauty/barber shop with a full time beautician. We are able to serve three delicious meals a day in our beautiful, spacious dining room. We have a full time Activities Director and an Activities Assistant on staff and as a result we are able to offer numerous activities per day.

You may be asking how do I apply and qualify to live at The Granville? The answer depends on each individual. The individual has to be at least 62 years of age. Each resident or potential resident has to be able to transfer independently and be able to get to and from meals independently. If someone is incontinent they must be able to manage their incontinence. The Granville is a non-secure community, therefore, we are not able to accept individuals who have had a history of wandering. In addition, we have income guidelines that each individual has to meet. Effective March 1, 2007 an individual cannot make over approximately $30,120 per year in income and a couple cannot make over approximately $34,380 per year in combined income. This includes income from all sources. The Granville also accepts individuals on the Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Program (HCBS). Our basic monthly rent and service packages are all inclusive and very affordable.
