- Independent Living
Independent Living is much like living in a traditional apartment complex or condominium. Residents have freedom to live according to their own schedules. Monthly rent can include a number of services such as transportation, housekeeping and meals. Additional services may also be made available. - Assisted Living
Assisted Living may be the best choice when a resident is no longer able to live independently and requires assistance on a daily basis. Residents may choose the level of care they require, ranging from minimum supervision to comprehensive assistance that is specialized for their individual needs. Typically, residents continue living in an apartment while receiving one-on-one aid with daily activities such as personal grooming and medication management.
Our Apartments
At Garden Plaza of Aurora, Independent and Assisted Living apartments are located on the same campus. The advantage is, when a resident begins requiring more assistance, he or she can continue to live in the same community, avoiding potential distress from settling into a new environment.
