Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Therapeutic Recreation Program (TRP)

The Therapeutic Recreation Program (TRP) provides opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities to acquire skills that enable them to participate in leisure experiences and enhance their abilities to function within a community setting. The TR staff provides advocacy and support for individuals with disabilities to enjoy general recreation activities, as well as specialized therapeutic programs that include opportunities in the following core areas. Find a The Death Café Event

With a Death Café, the idea is to get people from all backgrounds together over tea, coffee and delicious cake, to simply talk about death, a normal aspect of life that is generally feared by our culture. The hope of the Death Café movement is to simply normalize this phase of life by allowing groups of people to talk about death. A Death Café is not a support group or a means of selling services, but is instead a simple social gathering. There have been Death Cafés all over Colorado and the US. Learn More

Colorado Senior Lobby Annual Meeting

Colorado Senior Lobby's Annual Meeting will be at Wind Crest Retirement Community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Attendance is open to all. Membership is not a requirement to attend the meeting. We will be honoring 4 Legislators: Senator Crowder, Representative Lebsock, Representative Primavera and Representative Roupé.
