Many of the events feature companies and non-profit organizations presenting information to educate and inform seniors and their families on resources available in the community. Conversations on Death

Conversations on Death, a Boulder-based non-profit dedicated to encouraging meaningful and compelling explorations of the process of dying, death and grief, will host its third annual community conference on Nov 1, 2014 (the Day of the Dead) in Boulder. This day-long conference will include panels, presentations and discussions, as well as a participatory ancestor altar and music that will wake up the body and invite the soul to dance. The conference is scheduled to begin at 9:00AM. Registration is $20 per person online, $25 at the door. Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly suggested. The hope of the Death Café movement is to simply normalize this phase of life by allowing groups of people to talk about death.
