Colorado Farmers' Markets & Other Local Produce- Locate Markets Across the State
The Colorado Department of Agriculture assists Colorado food and agricultural companies to sell their products in local (Colorado Proud), regional, national and international markets. The agency collects livestock and produce market news from around the state, oversees nine market orders, grades and inspects fruits and vegetables and helps promote Colorado wines through the Colorado Wine Board. Colorado Housing & Finance Authority - CHFA

The Colorado Senior Network User's Group (CoSNUG) was established in 1994. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of and educate individuals about computers. Colorado Springs Fire Department's File of Life Program
File of Life is designed to provide important medical history, current medications, resuscitation requests and emergency contact information to First Responders. It consists of a highly visible magnetic folder designed for placement on a refrigerator and comes with a mini-version for a wallet, car, suitcase or other easily accessible location. Own Your Future. Colorado Partnership For Long-Term Care
with the Honorable Governor Bill Ritter, Jr.
The Colorado Long-Term Care Partnership is a public/private arrangement between long-term care insurers, Colorado's Medicaid program, the Division of Insurance, the Department of Human Services and the citizens of Colorado. It enables Colorado residents who purchase Long-Term Care Partnership insurance to have more of their assets protected if they later need the state Medicaid program to help pay for their long-term care. Colorado is using this approach to give its citizens greater control over how they finance their long-term care and to help shore up the public safety net against upcoming demographic pressures.

The First Parade of Retirement Homes Held in Colorado Springs
The first Parade of Retirement Homes was held in the Pikes Peak region this past month. The event featured the area's premier active senior living communities. Six Pikes Peak area retirement communities were showcased in the two-day event featuring free food, drinks, entertainment and tours. Each community drew between 300-500 prospective residents or their families with some coming from out of state.
