The Sunrise Health Care Center is located within the Calusa Harbour community. It is a nursing and rehabilitative center that promotes residents' emotional health as well as their physical well-being. Sunrise places a premium on preserving residents' dignity and self-respect, while providing quality standards of nursing care. The Sunrise Health Care Center offers a range of rehabilitative therapies available to both nursing-care residents and other members of the community. The Sunrise philosophy is to restore each resident as quickly as possible to his or her highest level of functioning and independence.

Short-term Stay

For family members caring for an aging loved one, Sunrise offers temporary assistance, as it's needed. This program is consider a short-term stay at a Sunrise Senior Living community. It is designed for stays of a few days to several months. The short-term stay program is perfect for when a family is away on a vacation or business trip or require a short break from caring for the senior in their life. Short-term stay is also an option for seniors needing extra assistance after a hospital visit or during an illness. Many of Sunrise's permanent residents begin their residence with Sunrise by evaluating the community through a short-term stay.
