At Franciscan Oaks Lifecare Retirement community, residents are traveling in high style in a new 31 seat luxury bus! Several trips are planned monthly by the resident activity committee for day trips at no extra charge. The new bus has a kneeling feature that lowers the entire bus to make the first step easier and small with an all air ride suspension for smooth sailing on all trips.

Weekly the bus takes residents shopping to the grocery and monthly to the local Malls, movies and new favorite stores like Trader Joes and Barnes and Noble. Summertime trips include Ellis Island, Atlantic City Boardwalk, NYC - Museum of Natural History, Jefferson House and Boat trip, Peggy Karr Glass factory, the State Fair and Fosterfields to name a few of the planned outings.

Residents are also enjoying the new offering of many overnight vacations with Long's Travel to many popular destinations. Residents are able to travel the world with their peers and never worry about their home while away. The staff at Franciscan Oaks takes care of inside and outside of resident's homes. All the yard work and weekly housekeeping are part of the all inclusive monthly fee. Lifecare retirement allows all residents to live a chore free lifestyle and truly enjoy their retirement!
