Seniors Inc. offers first-ever directory that evaluates products and services for seniors, boomers and their families. Colorado senior citizens, baby boomers and their families have a new resource to help them find reputable businesses offering quality products and services to meet their changing needs.

Seniors Inc., a trusted non-profit organization serving Colorado seniors, boomers and their families for 36 years, has created The Source - the first-ever business directory to evaluate products and services offered to older Coloradoans. The Source lists only those businesses that have undergone a thorough evaluation by Seniors Inc., including a site visit, and have been found to provide high-quality products and services for older adults and their families.

The Source is available online at www.seniorsinc.org or by calling 303-300-6900 and speaking to a Seniors Inc. volunteer. Businesses and other organizations are honing in on the state's growing senior and boomer populations, offering many new products and services to enhance the lives of older Coloradoans. The volume of new offerings in the market means that it can be a challenge for consumers to wade through the information and choose the products and services that best meet their needs.

The Source is a one-stop informational shop for seniors, boomers and their families, empowering them with the information they need to be well-informed, savvy consumers. Each listing in The Source includes the business or agency name and contact information, products and services offered, a link to their website, and a summary of the Seniors Inc. evaluation of the following criteria:

• Does the organization meet American Disabilities Act requirements for accessibility, including assisted or lightweight doors, wide aisles, accessible restrooms, appropriate lighting, motorized shopping carts, etc?
• Are senior discounts available?
• Is the business on a bus route and is the office or store easy to find?
• Are bills, refunds, estimates and refund policies clear and concise?
• Is someone available to speak with customers over the telephone or is an automated voice system in use?
• Are clerks courteous and informative?
• Is there a one-stop shop for questions or are customers transferred to various departments?
