Texas Veterans' Land Board (TVLB) Programs - Texas has always taken care of her veterans. Today, the TVLB proudly serves over 1.7 million Texas veterans. The following is a listing of benefits:

• Below market rate Home Purchase loans. Presently we offer 30year mortgage loans up to $240.000.00 for veterans and active duty.
• Home Improvement Loans are available to veterans and active duty in amounts up to $25,000.00 over 20 years or up to $10,000 over 10 years.
• Land loans are available to veterans and active duty in amounts up to $60,000.00 at 6.64% over 30 years. For purchase of one acre or more.
• Affordable Long Term/Alzheimer's Nursing Care is available at State Veterans Nursing Homes. Medicare and Medicaid certified.
• State Veteran Cemetery burial is offered to each honorably discharged veteran, his or her spouse and eligible dependents. Veterans are interred free of charge, $300.00 fee for spouses and dependents.
