SeniorCare, a division of Alabama Geriatric Specialists, Inc., is pleased to announce the opening of its Geriatric Care Coordination Program. This is a pre-paid, fee-for-service program designed to help families navigate the transitions of care that occur during the aging process. The cost of the program is $150/month for Level I review and $300/month for Level II review. Enrolled clients will get guidance and direction to additional resources that can assist in regard to dealing with the clinical, emotional, financial and legal issues that accompany the transitions associated with the geriatric individual. This program is designed to help community physicians, attorneys, trust officers and most importantly families. Melissa Goodwin, who is a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, directs this program.
