Dear Friends and Neighbors
As a state representative, one of my most important jobs is helping you get the most out of your state government. Pennsylvania provides many services for its senior residents. Following are just a few of the things with which my office and other state representatives' offices can help:
Filling out state forms, including:
- PACE (prescription drug assistance for senor citizens)
- Property Tax/Rent Rebate
- LIHEAP (Low-Income Heat and Energy Assistance Programs)
Requests for literature of all kinds, including:
- Benefits & Rights for Older Pennsylvanians
- Other senior citizen information
- State maps
Issues or questions about PennDOT, including:
- Discounted vehicle registrations for retired persons
- Disability placards and license plates
Applications for hunting and fishing licenses at reduced rates for senior citizens
Complaints and problems with insurance
Complaints or questions regarding utilities and the PUC
Pennsylvania income tax issues
Any issues with state government!
This list is not exhaustive, so please do not hesitate to call my office with any comment, question or problem you may have. My staff and I are here to serve you.
Sincerely,
Mike Gerber
