If you are a denture wearer then you are probably aware of the high cost and lengthy procedures typically associated with getting a new set of dentures. Recently, a newly developed process has been made available to Doctors and technicians to aid in the fabrication of new dentures. This method has been perfected over the past five years and is attaining dramatic changes to final dentures. It allows a much better fit and appearance than previously possible. The originator and investor of this system have now joined together to make it available, through the newly formed Orion Dental Lab, to Dentists across the nation. The greatest benefit to a patient is the time he or she will save eliminating appointments needed at a dental office. Dentists who are currently using the system find their patients to be very pleased with their new dentures, consequently sending them more referrals. Secondly, the Dentist can free up more "chair time" to care for other patients. This new process requires the Dentist to take special impressions that are then delivered to Orion Dental Lab for fabrication, without having to use the typical wax try-ins. The lab then returns the denture to the Dentist for final denture delivery. Without this process a case scenario would probably require the patient to make six or seven visits to a dental office and pay up to $5000.00. As of this date only Dentures Direct has been certified to use this process in the state of Arizona. Other dental offices will soon be added.
