Downsizing, Independent Living, Retirement – Call it what you want. Given time, we all get to the point where we want to slow down and enjoy the times we have worked so hard to get to. We are getting older but we do not feel old. We all want our independence but not the hassles and responsibilities. Everyone wants to enjoy first-class amenities at an affordable price. We all want to make our own decisions, make our own plans and do our own thing without someone telling us how to do it. Everyone desires their own space, their own home and to enjoy their surroundings. No one wants to spend time mowing their yard, tending the garden and landscaping.
Today there are many planned residential urban developments designed to meet your wants and needs. Many homes are custom built for the owner. Homes can be a privately owned single family dwelling or town-home. In many new developments each home has its own yard area to do with as much or as little as you desire. The yards, common areas, and recreation areas are maintained by the Association. Sidewalks take you to your mailbox, to visit your neighbors, enjoy the common areas, exercise in the recreation area, or just out for a breath of fresh air. Street lamps at each home provide you security and allows for the late evening walk or activity. All the convenience and still enjoy the small town charm and freshness of the country.
Pleasant View Downs is just one of these new active adult communities. It is located in Pleasant View, Tennessee, Twenty minutes to downtown Nashville and Downtown Clarksville; fifteen minutes to Springfield and Ashland City.
